Bio

Gregory Clifford is a talented drummer with over two decades of experience in the music industry and over 200 recordings released. He holds a degree in jazz performance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he honed his skills as a musician.

Greg has performed with several renowned bands, including White Denim, Heartless Bastards, and Kalu & the Electric Joint. His dynamic drumming and versatility have made him a valuable collaborator in the music industry. He has also worked with contemporary jazz players such as Elijah Fox and Jahari Stampley, showcasing his ability to adapt to different genres and styles.

Aside from his work as a drummer, Greg is also a successful lofi jazz producer and songwriter, earning him over a million monthly streams on various music platforms with international collaborators. Greg is the promotional manager for Dutch-based lofi jazz label Cole Slaw Records.

Greg's impressive resume includes performances at prestigious venues worldwide, such as Red Rocks Amphitheater (twice), LA's Greek Theatre, Amsterdam's Paradiso and over a dozen music festivals such as Austin City Limits Festival, End of the Road Festival, and SXSW. He has also appeared on Conan, and has toured with bands that have opened for several big names in the music industry, such as the Flaming Lips, Jason Isbell, and Caamp.

In all aspects of his career, Greg’s talent, dedication, and versatility shine through, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and fans alike.

Greg is a Houston Astros fan and plays C&C drums.
